Review # 1 was written on 2008-04-13 00:00:00 Mandie Warren This is not a book you necessarily read cover to cover, and it probably cannot be devoured like a novel or other nonfiction pieces. However, the letters are funny, touching, wrathful, and provide an excellent glimpse into the sentiment and lifestyles of the time. |
Review # 2 was written on 2015-01-29 00:00:00 Eric Soucy A wonderful, 1920s-contemporary look at the Presidents. It is written in a language easy to understand and intended for the non-historian. I felt that it was a bit dated, but historians and fans of the Presidency will love this book. |
