| Review # 2 was written on 2011-05-04 00:00:00 Garry Stutsel Great book, but this is NOT a field guide... it is an in-depth discussion of the different species, including their courtship displays, size, habitats, social behavior, how to differentiate the species in the hand, evolutionary relationships, etc. The information is referenced back to journal articles, so this is reliable info. Great book for anyone interested in falconry or birds-of-prey. |
