Review # 1 was written on 2012-06-08 00:00:00 Rod Zulinick I loved this book. It is a delightful, joyful meditation on the amazing experience of marriage. Love is joyful and transformational, and we lose track of that in the general culture. Out in the world, marriage is an institution that supports society, but in our hearts and lives, marriage is a miracle. I officiated a friend's wedding. Concerned about the responsibility I had taken on, I talked to my preacher father, who said, what can go wrong, it's a wedding! We used Redeeming Marriage as the basis for our pre wedding discussions, and for structuring the service. it also provided inspiration for my blessing at the service. Thank you, Uncle Ted, for celebrating marriage with this book.
