Review # 1 was written on 2015-07-15 00:00:00 Debra Horton If you're interested in medical ethics, this book is amazing. The author recounts true case studies of several patients that in some way, shape or form require review of the hospital's ethical committee. It really forces you to reconcile your personal ethical beliefs with humane medical practices and brings to light the challenges that patients' families and health care practitioners face on a daily basis. A philosophically gritty yet inspiring read. |
