Review # 1 was written on 2014-07-16 00:00:00 Tim Lee Garden Perennials for the Coastal South by Barbara Sullivan (U.N.C. Press 2003)(635). This is a very oddly assembled book; the format chosen by the author makes this a hard book in which to get around or to find information. Here are the primary divisions in which this book is arranged: "The Seasons," "The Best and Worst Plants for Coastal Gardens," "The Types of Gardens," "The Companion Plants," "Practical Gardening Tips," and "A to Z Plant Guide." It's fairly comprehensive, but it's poorly organized. My rating: 6/10, finished 7/15/14.

Review # 2 was written on 2016-02-03 00:00:00 Kurt Freund A collection of historical trivia, much of it interesting, from the earliest days of rose growing to the present. A bit random since it's done in alphabetical order.
