This book made me think about back in history when people made their own homes , crops and pots when it said '' For hundreds of years these people lived and farmed on the flat mesa top'' The writer is teaching us about how hard working they were and back in history about the Anasazi meaning the Ancient Ones because made everything by themselves went through many changes like moving their homes. It's also good to know about how different it was back then living cliffs. In my opinion , is that being hard working is important because you could get good grades or something good came out of doing the hard work. Also knowing history so you can learn something new and go and visit where it happened like you can visit a park where the Anasazi lived.
