When David Shade lost his first wife to a `bad boy,' he set about a journey to discover what kept females interested and what kind of women to look for (and which kind to avoid). Shade believes it all relates to sex and in fact likes to use a familiar quote: "For men, sex is sex. For women, sex is everything else." Shade goes on to elaborate about what kind of woman is most open to a relationship (high self esteem, well educated, etc.) and believes the best bet for any man's happiness is to find the legendary "Daddy's Girl." Of course, this is easier said than done, but in both this book and his follow-up workbooks, CDs and tools, he outlines a step-by-step approach to finding Ms. Right. Though interviews, background information and even handwriting analysis, Shade imbues the reader with the signposts to look for in a good mate. He also explores and explodes numerous myths about female sexuality from both his own research and the feedback from many of his followers via a plethora of emails recanting both good and bad experiences from the past. While Shade's findings are less clinical and more anecdotal than many books on the same subject, his point-of-view along with that of his readers, goes a long way to simply the choices one makes in mate selection as well as the things to avoid.

I have started this book like any other self-help book, to learn something and improve. It was a disappointment to realize that this book is nothing but a huge marketing panflute for other David's products. Filled with countless success stories and brags about the awesomeness of the author or his students. Providing little to none information on how to get there. If you promise something at the beginning of the book, I expect it delivered by the end. I felt a bit scammed.
