Review # 1 was written on 2019-07-28 00:00:00 Tyler Owen This book took forever. I read it twice, the second time physically highlighting the interesting parts. There was some really great stuff, but it was written in such a wordy, convoluted way that I had to force myself to go digging and editing on my own. However, I do feel much better equipped to discuss the concept of God than I did before reading this book, and I found myself in agreement with much of the author's theology. |
Review # 2 was written on 2019-10-08 00:00:00 Alan Sova I found it not only a book for children, but directed to parents. It raises questions most adults are STILL asking: "Who made God?" "Can God hear my prayers?" "Why does God let people die?" "How do I know there IS a God?" These questions and many more. Although written by a Jewish Rabbi, Harold Kushner, the book is worth reading by Christians, Muslims etc. It is still a very relevant read. |
