Review # 1 was written on 2010-05-24 00:00:00 Richard Kemp The author makes excellent use of second-person narration to pull young readers into the book's tropical rainforest setting. Judicious use of language devices include sound effects and alliteration make the book perfect for reading aloud at schoolor at home, and the fascinating information gives readers a great introduction into the role of army ants in their environment.

Review # 2 was written on 2011-12-30 00:00:00 Roy Copeland This is another of the stories that Mrs. Sayre wrote that does a great job of bringing the animal world to children. It's interesting, well-written, impressively detailed, and a joy to read. Good book.
