Review # 1 was written on 2008-12-05 00:00:00 nigel melas I had gotten this one after reading Hyland's book on Portugal. However, when it arrived a couple of years ago, I had feared it might be a bit dull, so it languished on my TBR pile. Yes, there were some (historical) sections that didn't hold my interest, but the author managed to integrate them fairly well overall. Glad I got around to reading this one at last.
