Review # 1 was written on 2013-07-17 00:00:00 David Ficocelli Read this for my US History class at Brigham Young University. It was a well written for a text book. I wished that there could have been more specifics in certain events during American colonial times. But criticisms aside, the generalization of American history was done well. The book covers from early Native American during pre-Columbian times and to trans-Atlantic slavery, European colonization of the Western Hemisphere, specifically North America and Caribbean regions. The books ends with the Reconstruction Period after the Civil War. I actually enjoyed learning history from this book. |
