Review # 1 was written on 2020-10-22 00:00:00 Sandra Howard I really enjoyed Reality, Knowledge, and Value. It appears to have been written with the intent of introducing philosophy to those unfamiliar with the topic. However, as a student of philosophy I found this book valuable for the topics it covers and the conciseness with which it is written. I highly recommend it to those coming to philosophy for the first time as well as to those already familiar with the subject. I found the first half of the book most useful, as it discusses several important philosophical arguments within epistemology. There is also a short section on philosophy of mind which introduces the concept of the self as well as materialism, and I found this section to be well worth reading. This is a 5 star book in its brief treatment of epistemology and mind, but loses steam in the final 30 or 40 pages. It is a fairly short read at 126 pages and the philosophy student at any level should find something of value within its pages.

Review # 2 was written on 2016-12-14 00:00:00 Victor Paragua Book covers an insane amount of ground and traverses the relevant topics in epistemology in such a clear and insightful manner. Beautifully written such that even a philosophical novice such as my self can learn something
