Review # 1 was written on 2017-11-30 00:00:00 Gary Lester This was for school, so I'll save most of my insights for graded work ;) that said, though, this was an especially well-written textbook! It was very easy to read, and not just because I was interested in the subject. so. good job.

Reading against the debates between the anti-revolutionaries, such as Burke, de Maistre, Donoso Cortes, and the radicals like Prooudhon, Marx etc.. Tönnies offers a kind of theoretical framework that attempts to subsume both stances to a totalising historicised picture of social orders.
