Being an elementary school teacher and dealing daily with the Common Core Standards, I am always looking for ways to tie subjects together and have students make connections across the curriculum. By reading the reviews on this book, I feel this is a nice way to carry ideas and generes across the curriculum with literature, geography, history, music, art, etc. The WKU library has this book available but it isn't in circulation. One would need to visit WKU Ed Center Reference (Non-Circulating)for viewing.
