Sure, it's encyclopedic in the range of information that it brings to bear on the world's most famous sermon, so if you want to understand the genre of the beatitudes or the relationship between Jesus's sermon and various parallels in Egypt or Greece or elsewhere in the ancient world, no one will do you better. But if your goal is to obtain increased spiritual insight into the meaning of the sermon and apply its teaching in your life, then this commentary is not very helpful, and one gains more from a commentary by someone who KNOWS less about the sermon (Augustine, e.g.) but understood and could communicate its meaning better.
