Review # 1 was written on 2013-04-20 00:00:00 Leslie Mcadoo Gordon It's about time someone applied Christian ethics to farming and Prof. Frick's does a thorough job in this readable book. Much food for thought, pardon the fun, as agriculture continues to follow two paths, one of productivity at what cost and another of local, sustainable. As a prof at Cornell U's Ag school, Frick's brings his classes to my brother's organic, intensive grazing dairy farm in the Finger Lakes of NY to show a sustainable, family run alternative to factory farms. |
Review # 2 was written on 2012-06-10 00:00:00 Juan N Carlos seems like a good primer on multiple appraches towards theorizing Class. |
