Review # 1 was written on 2013-08-26 00:00:00 Alfred Dodson A bit more scholarly than most of today's experience-based nonfiction, but I was glad I'd read this book before visiting Mount Koya. Thanks to Nicoloff I knew much more about the sites and relics that I saw than I would have given my lack of language skills. Plus, I was able to pick up a bottle of Kobo Daishi sake which I wouldn't have known about otherwise. I recommend this to fellow visitors.
