Review # 1 was written on 2018-10-21 00:00:00 John Konopka This is a quality age-appropriate book. I read it with my 9-year-old daughter as part of our homeschool curriculum. The book follows his life, before, during, and after the presidency. It addressed the fact that Jefferson owned slaves and how it conflicted with his true beliefs, but in an age-appropriate way. I liked that vocabulary words were printed in bold and included in the glossary. The illustrations and captions followed the text well. This is an overall good introduction to Thomas Jefferson and early American concepts and conflicts.

Review # 2 was written on 2013-06-12 00:00:00 Donald Sherry This is a good summary for kids about the presidents. I enjoyed reading and learning about things I didn't know about Thomas Jefferson.
