Review # 1 was written on 2017-02-27 00:00:00 Emma Johnson Thomas Bracken created a great book about Abraham Lincoln, and to learn the struggles one of our presidents had gone through had really interested me. This book is a great book to read if you enjoy learning about the past and learning about the United States past as well.

Review # 2 was written on 2013-12-02 00:00:00 Joel Hall This book is about Abraham Lincoln and his role during the Civil War. Lincoln and the Civil War is a major tuning point in our country's history, especially for African American. I do not want my students to miss why the African Americans in the South were discriminated. They need to know the source and all the key steps along the way to the Civil Right Movement in the 1960s. I would use this book in a small group reading where I can make connections to other historical leaders.
