Review # 1 was written on 2011-12-21 00:00:00 William Wilson This work is an informative look at the Globe Theatre. Not only does it cover the architecture, business and company of the globe, but the social strata that make up the audience. The reading level is upper elementary, and photographs, side bars and captions provide divergence from a linear reading experience. The point of reference is somewhat confusing. Some sections read as if a person from the time period is talking to you and other as if you are reading a narrative/ historical accounting. Overall, educational and enjoyable.

Review # 2 was written on 2019-09-09 00:00:00 Eugene Rader This is an exciting picture book biography on William Shakespeare and the history of the Globe Theater. Additionally covering the time, styles of dress, social classes, how laws and the plague affected actors and the theater, etc.
