Review # 1 was written on 2010-04-04 00:00:00 Julian Young This lift-the-flap story follows Sam as he plays in the yard. When he falls and hurts his knee, Mommy takes care of it. But when he falls a second time, he needs a special helper to care for his boo-boo. Where is Boo-Boo Bug? This book encourages young readers to become involved in the story by lifting the flaps on each page to tell part of the story. In simple language, the story relays a familiar situation that the young child can relate to everyday life. Colorful illustrations accompany the story. Printed on extra-heavy, tear-resistant paper, this is a book designed to be toddler-friendly. Recommended. |
Review # 2 was written on 2013-04-27 00:00:00 Stuart Kraus The shortest book I've read all year. Only ten pages! But our son loved it, and that's what made the book enjoyable for me. For some reason, he loves construction vehicles. Actually, he just loves any vehicle. After I got done reading the book, he grabbed the book from me and started gazing at the pictures longer. He even acted like he read the book (he's almost three years old). It's neat to see him take an interest in books. |
