The average rating for Dying Declarations: Notes From a Hospice Volunteer based on 2 reviews is 3 stars.
Review # 1 was written on 2011-11-22 00:00:00 Robert Lobl The prose was a little bit tedious at times, like the author was trying to explain something to a small child. Some of the essays seemed to drag on without settling on any particular point. Overall, I found it to be a useful guide to the variety of experiences one might have in hospice volunteer work and the range of grief reactions exhibited by families. |
Review # 2 was written on 2017-09-18 00:00:00 Ed Truchanowicz Not a fun read, but a glimpse at depression, at myself, and a bit of social discourse on the state of motherhood in America thrown in for good measure. It was normalizing to see that my scary thoughts looked just like someone else's scary thoughts from time to time. |
