Review # 1 was written on 2014-10-13 00:00:00 Bubba Smith This book deals on black journalists in todays world, I find that every page in this book tends to be true about what they see within that field. Yes black journalists do tend to have a very heard time getting into that field and yes some do tend to be a bit laze. This book is a great book to read because everying that is within this book is still happening today.

Review # 2 was written on 2009-01-20 00:00:00 Per Laursen A timeless book - more change is needed during this present day. We still have a long way to go in the mainstream. Well written and researched and an inspirational read particularly where it mentions some success stories in the mainstream but also in the black press i.e. The Voice newspaper. Would be great if Ainley could put out a revised edition to determine how far we have truly come or not since the publication of this book two decades ago.
