Review # 1 was written on 2019-06-12 00:00:00 David Dawley Having a grandfather who served in the Frozen Chosin, I am always interested in learning more on the Korean War. This book did not disappoint. Since it was all first hand accounts, it gave a special view on the goings on and how the average soldier/Marine/seaman felt about his job. I would recommend this book if you enjoy oral history, and if you have a desire to better understand the Korean War.

Review # 2 was written on 2016-01-27 00:00:00 George Trout Oral history of the Korean War...my favorite form. Interested in this because my father was one of the soldiers who made it all the way up to the border of China, the Yalu River, when the Chinese came pouring over the border.
