Review # 1 was written on 2009-02-16 00:00:00 Migyur Samkhar This book was extremely eye-opening; maybe too much so. There is so much out there that medicine does NOT know about women's bodies and how they react to so many kinds of drugs - antidepressants, HIV drugs, heart medicines, even birth control and fertility aids! Women have been underrepresented in major medical studies going back decades and as such, we are basically "guinea pigs" when we get a new prescription. I only gave this four stars because it was written in 1994 and I'm sure a lot has changed since then. An updated version would be most welcome.

Review # 2 was written on 2014-08-04 00:00:00 John Leonard An important contribution to the study of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Both a compelling argument for the author's explanation of the existence of the Scrolls, and a scathing indictment of the entrenchment of ideas by an academic elite.
