Very interesting none the less and is a good book for those who want to know what Mecca is but have no knowledge of Islam, Prophet Muhammad (sallalahu alayhi wa selam) and the significance of the city.

It is a rambling autobiographical story about the author�s travels in the Middle East as she searches for some kind of meaning to life. I found it difficult to follow and once finished, I still wasn�t sure of the point she was trying to make.
