Review # 1 was written on 2018-12-31 00:00:00 Frank Mizell This book came to my collection by way of a textbook for Western Civilization class in college. As for textbooks, it's ok. For a student of history, it is a convenient book to check on or refresh memory on such general topics as ancient history. Overall, the textbook is generally not well written. The subjects are all over the place. Concepts and ideas are scattered and disjointed. Overall organization for a college textbook is poor.
