I had previously read this books but didn't give it its due. The first time I read it I did not read "A Private Affair" and I rushed through it wondering who Maxine was going to end up with, I was rooting for Quinn and believe me when she didn't I was sore and really didn't like Q. This time around I read book one first and when I got to "Dreams" I was prepared with an open mind. Knowing how the book was going to end I was able to take my time and pay attention to the written words instead of just the plot. Oh my goodness how did I ever overlook the love Taylor had for Maxine and Jamel. The pain that Quinn was going through and his love for Nikita was real. This book is so emotional and Donna was able to bring different scenarios just to expose the bigger picture. It was a such a treat to read round 2.
