Wealthy Matthew Marshall adds a codicil to his will leaving $50 million to his love child from his time in Vietnam. When he dies, the other heirs are required to search for the daughter. Private detective Adam Bruno is hired to find her. While he does a super job following lead after lead, the remaining Marshalls and the lawyers are busy cooking up a way to stop her from inheriting, if she is found. Good story.

The book deserves a better rating than what is given here. It kept my attention throughout. A quick read. I would have liked to read more Adam Bruno detective novels, but it seems there is only one.
