Review # 1 was written on 2012-08-23 00:00:00 Matt Norris It is amazing to see a book published in 1977 still being applicable today. Yes. A lot of the things getting talked about like factory design are not so applicable now. Other universal things like interior ergonomics, anthropometry are still very applicable. The book also breaks the content down very well in terms of the big chunk of design process and considerations for spatial design. A great intro book. I am actually a interface designer who is interested in spatial design. See a lot of overlap and also new things. Cool book! |
Review # 2 was written on 2021-04-19 00:00:00 David Tereschuck This is a somewhat chatty primer on spatial planning that seems to be aimed at the high school or freshman college level. Likely, it was meant to be supplemental reading material. As I recall, that's what I may have used it for, although I don't recall actually reading it until now. Although it still has some basic usefulness, it would presumably need a thorough updating. |
