Review # 1 was written on 2016-09-14 00:00:00 William siegel I recently re-read this book for the pentatonic chapter. Then I ended up reading the whole thing again. This is a good book for 3 note per string scale players who do rock/shred style with modes. Overall Finn demonstrates an interesting system of understanding the guitar neck with good nuggets of information on harmony thrown in. |
Review # 2 was written on 2015-02-05 00:00:00 Nanda Kumar this was a really great fresh look at the work of the Holy Spirit. dave and i were just talking about this! it's not just about a one time experience or even a two time deal. the spirit of God can come upon you many times with many different evidences of this. speaking in tongues is not refuted (for it is a very real experience), but the biblical evidence of being filled with the spirit of God (which happens at the time of salvation) is in the fruit of the spirit. very good stuff. i do not like how he seems to deal harshly a group for misconceiving. i think he just has to realize that it is not of malice - just of misunderstanding. |
