Review # 1 was written on 2011-04-06 00:00:00 Beau Bridges Of COURSE this is an excellent book! It's from Mallory & McCall! =) Coming at this as a fan of pub sing-alongs and a lover of all Irish music, I found this to be a gem. My 2nd favorite thing about the way this collection is put together is the light-heartedness of the musical suggestions. ('The German Clockwinder', for example, to is be played "Mit oof!") Their research of song origins is noted, too, which is a nice change from so many publications of this nature. And Mel Bay's formatting makes this an easy reference tool. My 1st favorite thing, before we forget? Page 61. Hey, I never said this review wouldn't be biased.
