Review # 1 was written on 2015-01-12 00:00:00 Andrew Lindow It's a bunch of rudimentary patterns and chord progressions, written out for every single key. More than half of the book is comprised of a measure of music, written out 12 times, which is completely unnecessary. The author recommends the player memorize every pattern in every key... I feel like someone who needs to do that isn't ready for improvisation, let alone sight-reading music. Totally useless, unfortunately. |
Review # 2 was written on 2012-10-18 00:00:00 John Pacelli Merely a list of patterns, some of them won't be useful in the practice... perhaps good for doing some transposition exercises in the class, otherwise you can easily live without this volume. |
