Review # 1 was written on 2012-03-13 00:00:00 Juan Montalvo I don't believe there is another American author who possesses the same wit and verve as Mark Twain. The abundant examples of suggested "naughtiness," taken from his own childhood, prove where he obtained his wealth of experience for his writings. I'm glad he wrote them down ... and I'm equally glad I was not his mother.

Review # 2 was written on 2013-09-04 00:00:00 JORDAN Fiscus This treasury has excerpts from books, magazine pieces and speeches written by Mark Twain. I'm not sure if I would recommend this as a starting point for new readers of Twain, but you get a good overview of his humor and philosophy. Each reading ranges from a page to 4 pages long, so it makes for perfect bedtime reading.
