Review # 1 was written on 2012-03-13 00:00:00 Peter Milelli I also love this baseball, but it is written by Ann Gaines. She is has written several short biographies. This book shines on the idea that Sammy Sosa wasn't always a great baseball player. He could not always hit home runs, and sometimes could never even get it out of the outfield! The book introduces the idea to never give up! Also, this book plays a huge role that he overcame strong adversity to become what he dreamt of. He was raised in a poverty home in the Dominican....This is a strong read! I have always been a Cubs fan, and I enjoyed this book but also learned a lot! |
Review # 2 was written on 2012-06-13 00:00:00 Justin Watterson I liked this book a lot mainly because I like Sammy and the Cubs but the objectives he had to overcome and the obstacles he defeated were good. |
