Painful insight on war's effect veterans and their families. I almost quit on the book because it was so painful to read. The author got the information right and included the gut level pain that is part of war. The book definitely makes it a point to have some of these veterans included on the Wall. These book should be mandatory reading for all law makers, that are responsible for putting our young men and women in harm's way. It should be mandatory reading for all high school students, as well. I recommend this book, but, it is a hard book to get through. My wish is for peace for all the veterans, their families that were mentioned in the book and, especially, the author.

Interesting take on fundamentals and technicals. Mostly old hat but good read.
