Review # 2 was written on 2019-01-28 00:00:00 Luan Huynh In this book we move from cats to dogs. Dixie has a lot of canine charges (Although I'm not sure where they were in the last book). She has a large dog that she takes on morning runs every day, but her main focus in this book is a dachshund who is very old and dying. She cares for it and even throughout the search for a killer, drug dealers, and gangsters we have the poor dog in the back of our minds. With all the excitement of the book I will always picture that dog when I think about it. So sad! 😢 |
