Review # 1 was written on 2015-09-09 00:00:00 Sarah Atkinson This book was organized & wrote in a novel format by 3 different authors. I wish i knew who wrote what chapters because some of the "stories" i enjoyed reading more than others. All of the dialogue was still Old Testament format so it was hard to follow at times. It was an okay novel. Many snippets of various bible stories without getting lost in too many details. Its a nice reference book to have in hand if you're wanting a quick summary of a certain story or character from the Bible. I did enjoy all the different perspectives. |
Review # 2 was written on 2013-12-03 00:00:00 Shirlene Patton This book is compilation of short stories from the Bible. The craft that I noticed that most in this text is character traits. I believe it is that because the stories and the text is morally based. Using this text to teach my students this concept may become controversial because this text is technically a religious text and all of my students may not practice the same religion, but with that being said I do think this text would be useful as a great source of example for my students. |
