Review # 1 was written on 2017-09-12 00:00:00 Mark Grogan Rating 3.5 This is book 3 in the Portraits series by a collection of Christian authors. Each book can be read as a stand alone. I can definitely tell this was an earlier book in Peterson's writing career as her later books give you a roller coaster ride from start to finish. I felt this one had a slower beginning but once it picked up I enjoyed it more. I also felt that the character development wasn't as strong. I did enjoy the travel aspect which included settings in England, Ireland, and Scotland. The premise of the story is that Gabby Fleming is pressured by her sister to accompany her on a tour of these countries. Since Gabby writes for a travel magazine, she decided to go after her editor thought it was give her some great travel articles. She also provided Jarod Walls as a photographer to accompany Gabby. But little did Gabby know that Jarod and her sister, Janice, were both hiding secrets that would land them all in sticky situations. Overall a good suspense read with a taste of romance.
