The book mainly focuses on the George W. Bush years and the political events and controversies. Limbaugh compiles together many interesting viewpoints and facts into this book. An abridged version of this book without the partisan banter would be an excellent read. However, Limbaugh's scapegoating liberals for all our problems, makes this book difficult to stomach. Limbaugh's goes on many rants against the media, liberals and the democratic party. If you can handle David's brother Rush Limbaugh for 3 minutes, then you can probably find value in this book.

Yes, I'm biased, but instead of offering insight into the conservative worldview, this book read like a Wikipedia entry of "things liberals have said." The entire 400+ pages are nothing but entries of various things liberals have said in various media interviews, op-eds, and speeches. Literally, "on (date), (person) said (something)." Don't bother with this book.
