I liked when Song Lee saved Chungju.

I love Song Lee; I like that she has her own little spin-off series in the Horrible Harry franchise. I think in this book about Song Lee, we learned a lot about Song Lee: She's painfully shy, loves her culture, adores animals of all kinds, even the "horrible" ones, she is sweet and kind and a great friend. The one thing I did not like, and continue to dislike is Mary and how she treats people. She didn't get her way when Harry had the opportunity to appear on TV in the art exhibit, and she destroyed his art piece; and now with Song Lee, because she didn't want to tell Mary the secret about Harry, she violently put clay in her hair? Song Lee didn't tattle on Mary, but I feel like she should have. That's just enabling her poor behaviour. I don't like Mary. I think the last line in the book is the best thing: "Song Lee. Most of the time, she follows the rules. But when she doesn’t, it’s because she follows her heart." Song Lee in Room 2B, I think, is one of my favourites in this series.
