Review # 1 was written on 2013-12-07 00:00:00 Daniela Rossler The Mighty tree is a short story that explains the uses and purposes of trees. Gackenbach explains the reproduction process of trees. He then shows and lists different things trees are used for. He lists things such as paper, bags, wrapping paper, hats, candy wrappers and Christmas Tree, and then how a tree can just be a tree to help produce more trees. Great book to use in class, really good illustrated pictures and all the details about the trees life. Great book for Elementary level.

This is a good one to read along side the religious The Three Trees story. It too is about three seeds but it's different. It's good for discussing the habitat of trees. Library borrow.
