Great for learning the stories behind those names in culture that just sort of float in collective memory. I had no idea about most of the legends in this book. Now when I watch Sanford and Son (my favorite old sitcom) I catch more of the references. My only complaint is that once again a book called "100 Folk Heroes who Shaped World History" focuses largely on the American viewpoint, and 90 of the characters are American or European. But in spite of the book being incorrectly titled, it was a valuable read.

This story deals with the fallout of last volume as the new team gather and also on Fury's request, the team goes to South America to check on some stuff and then find sentinels attacking them and the person behind it and we learn of Bolivar Trask's daughter and how she has been involved with this program, fun stuff. Also how her grandfather and what her father true visions were is actually explored here and more focus on the villains behind the group is told. Fun stuff with Cyclops leading the team and then in the end Logan's funeral eulogy by Cyclops was lovely. Claremont weaving his magic while writing these characters.
