Review # 1 was written on 2019-12-28 00:00:00 Johnny Dang Uncle Upton's unusual utensils were unbreakable, unforgettable, and utterly useless. Work your way through the alphabet with a series of assemblage-art photos in this delightful book. The stories are fun, and surprising. I particularly liked Igor's invisible ice cream parlor, which features flavors like Vanishing Vanilla, and Transparent Toffee. AND, just when you think the book is over, there's a two-page list of objects to look for in each picture. Hours of fun for all ages, even old gals like me.

Review # 2 was written on 2016-10-17 00:00:00 Oscar Ortega This is one of those cases where you need to make sure what exactly you're picking up when your going through the shelves in a library. To me this book is okay, but not something I would recommend for classroom use. When picking the book I definitely went off the cover and thought it would be and excellent choice, but as I got home and cracked it open I was disappointed that the book didn't live up to the cover. For school use there are just to many simple sentences along with way to many words that would not enrich a child's language instead it would just be words that a child will skip over and not really comprehend. It also has to real value for a circle time setting, there is no plot nor is there any substance that can evoke a child to think on a deeper level then what they had for breakfast.
