Great cookbook for someone who knows cooking basics and is looking to expand their recipe collection and skills. This was one of my very first cookbooks I bought on my own as a young adult over 20 years ago. Some recipes included: chicken cordon blue, chicken and mozzarella melts, Greek style chicken stew, chicken and veggie lasagna...

This is a very thorough book with excellent use of illustrations. I think that many gardeners might feel bored trying to "read" this but would find having a copy on hand as an excellent reference. I have found it great for browsing, the material is easy to digest and need not be accessed in a specific sequence though it easily could be. I found myself over the 2 weeks picking it up and browsing when i didn't have time to commit to reading as one might need for a novel. I wish i could keep the copy i have to give back to the library. There is so much there i will have to check out another time, or buy, to glean things i missed this time. This is a great book for gardening, landscaping and planning ideas.
