Review # 1 was written on 2017-12-12 00:00:00 Rocka Manana A typical (mediocre) Hippocrene dictionary: not many useful lexical information is given (e.g. no class identification of the nouns), and only a very short introduction to the grammar and pronunciation is given. Each Lingala word is followed by a pronunciation in English-style, like [koh-tee-nda], but at least high tones are marked where they occur (though the author calles it "stress"). All in all, not too bad, but could've been done much better. But it's still nice to have a Lingala dictionary, isn't it? :)
