You'll learn how you could end up a selfish pig, and why you might not want to. This book is about your life! Come join us in it. " Who wants to be a selfish pig? But, sadly, we often swallow lies that make us into them! Magazines, TV, books, social media -they all are full of selfish pigs and pig-like attitudes. The sad truth is, there are a lot of selfish pigs out there. But, there are also a lot of people looking for answers. Some of these people went to the L'Abri fellowship center, where Susan Macaulay lives. Everyone at L'Abri is asking big questions, about things like God, the purpose in life, right and wrong, and so much more. Some are there struggling with suicidal thoughts or actions, or maybe depression, and a few have fled their problems altogether, looking for a better way. In "How To Be Your Own Selfish Pig," Susan Macaulay tells the stories of these people, and leaves us (for the most part) to figure out the answer. Are you looking for answers? You need this book. If you want a book to hand you all the answers, this isn't it. This book often provides thoughts and information, but usually leaves the reader to decide for herself or himself what he or she believes. Great book for anyone who doesn't want to be a selfish pig! 🐖🐷

Review # 2 was written on 2007-11-28 00:00:00 Julia Wills This was an odd book. It had some redeeming stories about people and their salvation stories, but overall, the book didn't really have a strong, central message. Wouldn't recommend it to others to read.
