Review # 1 was written on 2017-01-01 00:00:00 Justin Williams I needed some light reading and this collection of cute little stories of a "simpler" past was just the thing. Each chapter was a Grandma reminiscing about her amusing childhood experiences and the lessons she learned with her hardworking, loving family and friends. The stories reminded me of the Little House on the Prairie books.

Review # 2 was written on 2015-04-21 00:00:00 James Saxton This book was given to me for Christmas by an aunt when I was perhaps 9 or 10 years old. I loved the many different stories and how I could curl up with it and feel cozy as I imagined what life would have been like long before I was born. I would recommend this book for any young girl or boy.
