Review # 1 was written on 2013-10-25 00:00:00 William White This is part of a series on the five senses and I must admit that for a work so simple Hewitt does an amazing job of presenting a thorough basis of the work of taste buds and sensors--that a young child would understand. Truly, Hewitt has done her homework to make this ver much educational. The photographs are bright and feature fellow children. Hewitt keeps it simple, quick, and full of fun observations and experiments. |
Review # 2 was written on 2010-07-12 00:00:00 James Flores Jr From the Colors series, Stockland showcases the color red. A mother and son take a trip to an orchard and notice all the objects that are red. The book is great for tiny tots with two sentences on one page and an illustration on the other. The second sentence offers a repetitive phrase so little learners can anticipate what's next. Theme: Red Additional themes: apples, mothers, sons, travel Reviewed from a library copy. |
