Review # 1 was written on 2014-06-27 00:00:00 Josephine Stolark This a good nonfiction book that provides students with a lot of information about what different animals eat. I would incorporate this book in a science lessons. I would be able to do different science lessons based off this one book like why living things need food, how plants receive energy from the sun, and the way energy flows through a pyramid. For instance we would focus on how the plant absorbs the suns energy and uses it to make food. I would use this book for 4th-5th graders. There is a lot of vocabulary that may not be appropriate for younger students but it would be great for older students. |
Review # 2 was written on 2008-06-08 00:00:00 Jeremy Bright This is a factual book that can provide children with information on the various stages of food chains. The book talks about what is needed for all living things to survive, and how living things get their food. This book could be incorporated into science lessons about food chains, and the necessary things living organisms need to survive. |
